Con questo riconoscimento l'associazione giovanile Operation Daywork intende valorizzare una persona, un gruppo, movimento o organizzazione per l'impegno attivo nel rispetto e tutela dei diritti umani.
Il premio intende anche contribuire a sensibilizzare l'opinione pubblica verso diverse problematiche e tutelare i difensori dei diritti umani attraverso l'attenzione internazionale, mirando a incoraggiare altre persone ad attivarsi in questo importante campo.
Il tuo ruolo come proponente:
Promuovi i contatti tra Operation Daywork, il/la candidato/a. Il Consiglio di Operation Daywork sceglierà tra le varie proposte all'assemblea generale il 26 maggio 2017, alla quale presenterai agli studenti delle scuole superiori votanti la persona/gruppo/movimento/organizzazione proposta. Se la tua candidatura vince il "Premio diritti umani di OD 2017-2018", avrai la possibilità di accompagnarci anche durante l'anno del progetto.

Kennst du jemand, der sich jeden Tag für die Menschenrechte einsetzt? Sollte er deiner Meinung nach den Operation Daywork Menschenrechtspreis 2017/2018 gewinnen?
Dann nominier ihn/sie oder auch dich selbst für den Operation Daywork Menschenrechtspreis!
Mit dieser Auszeichnung werden Personen, Organisationen, Bewegungen, informelle Gruppen geehrt, die sich mit herausragendem zivilgesellschaftlichen Engagement für die Achtung der Menschenrechte einsetzen.
Der Preis soll auch dazu beitragen, verschiedene Problemfelder ins Bewusstsein der Öffentlichkeit zu rücken und Menschenrechts-Verteidiger durch internationale Aufmerksamkeit zu schützen, sowie auch andere zu ermutigen, sich für Menschenrechte zu engagieren.
Deine Aufgabe als vorschlagende Person / Antragsteller:
Stelle den Kontakt zwischen Operation Daywork und dem Kandidaten/der Kandidatin her. Der Operation Daywork Auschuss wählt unter den eingegangenen Vorschlägen jene aus, die sich zur Wahl bei der Vollversammlung am 26. Mai 2017 stellen können, wo du deinen Kandidaten/deinen Kandidatin den teilnehmenden SchülerInnen vorstellen kannst. Falls dein/e KandidatIn den "OD-Menschenrechtspreis 2017/2018" gewinnt, hast du die Möglichkeit uns während des Projektjahres zu begleiten.

Do you know someone who advocates every day for human rights? Should he/her be honoured for this courageous choice? Then nominate his/her or yourself for the Operation Daywork Human Rights Award 2017/2018!!
The award recognizes individuals, organisations, movements, informal groups who work with outstanding civic commitment for the respect of human rights. The award also helps to put different problem areas into public awareness, and protects human rights defenders by giving them international attention, as well as to encourages others to get involved in human rights.
Your duties as proposer of a candidate:
Set up the contact between Operation Daywork (OD) and the candidate. The OD-student committee makes a preselection of the received candidates which are then admitted to OD General Assembly at the 26th of May 2017, where you are invited to present your candidate. If your candidate wins the OD Human Rights Award 2017/2018, you have the opwww.operationdaywork.orgportunity to join us during the project year.
